BUILD DURABLE SKILLS FOR UTAH STUDENTS
Utah's Portrait of a Graduate describes the ideal characteristics and career-ready skills of a Utah graduate after going through the K-12 system.
Wayfinder’s curriculum, activities, and assessments directly support educators to help students develop these characteristics and build future-ready skills to thrive in academics and life.
Students love Wayfinder. In head-to-head competitions nationwide, schools choose Wayfinder 4 out of 5 times. Our research-backed Future-Ready Skills curriculum complies with FERPA, COPPA, and PPRA and is the top choice of schools + districts across Utah.
Watch the video below to see why many of Utah's schools + districts use Wayfinder to build durable skills.
WELL-BEING RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS NAVIGATING SMARTPHONE HABITS
Utah Governor Spencer J. Cox has sent letters to district and school administrators saying “Cellphone-free learning environments will help our teachers teach and our students learn.” This has led to state-level proposals for stricter student cellphone policies.
Many school districts in Utah have already implemented restrictions or bans on cellphones in the classroom in an effort to reduce distractions and protect young Utahns from the effects of cellphone addiction.
We know that simply limiting screen time isn’t enough. True long-term success comes from teaching students how to develop healthy and responsible habits around social media and phone use.
Check out our free resource packet with activities to help students confidently manage their digital lives.
