CULTIVATE COMMUNITY ON DAY ONE

A student’s sense of belonging is shaped as soon as they enter the front doors of their school. We worked with our Wayfinder school partners at the Bronx Leadership Academy to co-create a front door mural that represents their students chosen words of belonging and community. The mural is a signal to the students and the wider community of their shared experience + connection to each other.

As we prepare to welcome students back to their schools and classrooms, let’s focus on creating community + belonging on day one.
